“It's very difficult for me to think about another fighter, because I've been thinking about Barão practically for the last year and a half. But I would say guys like Dominick Cruz, or even the Raphael Assunção, who are great fighters, but are injured now. I don’t know, when they come back, I don’t know what the plan is, but I would like to see these guys”, said the athlete from Team Alpha Male.

However, between the two names, Dillashaw seems to have a slight preference for the former category champion. “This fight with Cruz would be bigger, it would definitely be the fight that would make my name bigger within the category, as soon as he is ready to return”, he added, in response to another journalist.

Furthermore, TJ also analyzed his triumph over Renan Barao and said that he already expected to have a dominant performance against the Brazilian. “I expected to dominate the fight. I knew he was a faster athlete and that I had the skills to beat him. So I expected to win. I knew he (Barão) was tough, he is a very tough guy, but of course I believed he was capable of winning each round”, he concluded.
