Now it's official. On the morning of this Thursday (24), Ultimate announced, through a publication on social media, the next fight of Jailton Malhadinho. The heavyweight from Bahia faces the Russian Alexander Volkov at UFC 321, an event that takes place on October 25th, in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.

the duel between Jailton Malhadinho e Alexander Volkov can qualify the winner for the next heavyweight title fight. The weight class title will be at stake in the main event of the same UFC 321, when Tom aspinall defends the linear belt for the first time against the former interim champion Cyryl Gane.

Recently, the Bahian recovered from the only defeat suffered in the octagon, against Curtis blaydes, with a string of triumphs over Alexander Romanov and, more recently, Serghei Spivac, both in the first round.

Opponent of the Brazilian, Alexander Volkov also dreams of his first chance at the UFC belt. About to complete 50 career fights, the Russian had a four-fight winning streak interrupted by a controversial loss to Cyryl Gane in December 2024.
