The relationship between Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier has always been marked by cordiality and professionalism, even after intense encounters inside the cage.
The peak of their respectful rivalry occurred at UFC 269 in December 2021, when Charles submitted Poirier in the third round to successfully defend his lightweight title.
After the defeat, Dustin made a point of recognizing the Brazilian's social work, donating an amount to a project led by Do Bronx in his community.
