The first victory in the Ultimate octagon, about Dan Ige, on the main card of UFC 318, last Saturday (18), took a weight off the shoulders of Patrick Pitbull, but it wasn't enough to leave the Brazilian veteran completely satisfied.

In a press conference held shortly after the event, the Bellator legend admitted his frustration with his performance, which was the target of boos from the public, and justified himself, reinforcing the fact that he was coming off a loss in his debut in April.

"I'm not very happy, because I know I can do better than this. I had a bit of pressure on my shoulders, coming off a loss. Of course, I lost the fight in April against Yair (Rodriguez). He's very good, a former champion, but I know I'm better than those guys," said the Rio Grande do Norte native.

Patrício Pitbull is wasting no time and has already set his next target in the UFC.

With the victory over Dan Ige, the tendency is that Patrick Pitbull debut in the UFC featherweight rankings (up to 65,7 kg), taking the 11th spot, which belongs to the Hawaiian. Despite securing a spot in the organization's top 15, the Brazilian veteran has his sights set on an athlete who is not yet ranked and who has not even debuted in the Octagon.

At the UFC 318 press conference, Patrick Pitbull opened the door to face fellow ex-Bellator Aaron Pico, who would debut against Movsar Evloev, at UFC Abu Dhabi, this Saturday (26), but was left without an opponent after the Russian left the card.

"He's ready. I'm ready. I cut my nose, but I'll be back in two days. He can make his UFC debut against me. I'm a UFC veteran now," he concluded.
