In an interview with UFC News, Valter expressed his desire to remain active this season and revealed that he plans to fight two more times before the end of the year. The heavyweight believes this series of fights is crucial for gaining momentum and gaining more experience inside the Octagon.

“I want to fight more times this year, I want to have two more fights this year. If the UFC gives me that opportunity, I will be very happy, because I want to gain more experience inside the octagon,” said Valter Walker .

According to the Brazilian, there are rumors that his rival is preparing for a fight around that time, and Walker has already declared himself ready for the challenge. Without injuries after his last fight, the heavyweight is confident and intends to repeat his aggressive style, marked by submissions via foot locks.

“Yes, I want to fight Mario Pinto in September, in France, because he said… I mean, he didn’t tell me himself, I heard it somewhere… that he needs to fight me, but he said: ‘Ah, I’m not ready, I’ll be ready in September.’ Man, September is here, I’m ready… I haven’t gotten injured or anything. I’ll get you too, get ready,” concluded the heavyweight.

Walker debuted in the UFC surrounded by the expectation of being the younger brother of Johnny Walker , but ended up being defeated by Lukasz Brzeski in April 2024.
