The rivalry between Daniel Cormier e Jon Jones gained a new chapter after the former UFC light heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) and heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) champion reacted to recent provocations from his former opponent. On his official YouTube channel, 'DC' expressed frustration with the American's constant insinuations of a return to the octagon.

"Why are you playing with people's emotions? Don't go around playing with our emotions... You either fight, or you walk out the door," Cormier said on his YouTube channel.

Cormier's statement comes amid speculation about a possible return of Jon Jones, who recently indicated interest in facing the interim heavyweight champion, Tom aspinall, in a historic event planned for the White House in 2026.
