Charles do Bronx overcame the critical weigh-in stage this Friday (27) and confirmed the fight for the vacant lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg) at UFC 317 , in Las Vegas (USA). The Brazilian arrived at 70,1kg, weighed in below the pound tolerance and will face Ilia Topuria in the main fight of the night. All 24 athletes scheduled met the established weight.
Former belt holder in the category, Charles avoided the suspense. The Brazilian weighed 70,1 kg, below the ceiling established for the division.

Ilia Topuria , former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) and current lightweight title contender (70,3 kg), caused suspense by initially registering 70,5 kg – half a kilo above the allowed limit. A second measurement minutes later, however, validated the official weight of 70,3 kg, qualifying the Georgian for the title fight.
In addition to Charles do Bronx and Alexandre Pantoja , all five other Brazilian fighters scheduled for UFC 317 also confirmed their presence through the official weigh-in.
The tranquility extended to the other countrymen: Renato Moicano and Felipe Lima (main card), as well as Gregory Robocop , Viviane Araújo and Jhonata Diniz (preliminary card) are within the limits of their respective categories.
