During his visit to Brazil, Alex Poatán could not miss training with one of the legends of national MMA. The former UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) shared the mat with Rogério Minotouro, brother of Rodrigo Minotauro, who shone in the Pride rings and in the Ultimate octagon.

In a video posted on Poatan's Instagram stories, he appears alongside Minotouro in a light boxing sparring session. The activity focused on the technical part, with both using little force in their punches. The meeting took place at the 'KO Squad' gym, owned by the former Strikeforce champion. Rafael Feijão, in Rio de Janeiro.

Alex Poatán still awaiting the definition of a date for his rematch against Magomed Ankalayev. The Russian defeated the Brazilian by unanimous decision of the judges in the UFC 313. Minotouro, despite being retired from MMA, remains active in the world of fighting and, at 48 years old, has a boxing duel marked against the influencer 'Tadalafellas' on Fight Music Show 6, which takes place on May 17th.
