In one of the most anticipated fights of the UFC 314, Jean Silva impressed with his performance, turned off Bryce mitchell in the second round and secured the performance bonus of the night. The show was so great that Renato Moicano assessed 'Lord' as ready to face the champion of the category. However, he also pointed out what still needs to be done for him to become a global star.

In a video published on his YouTube channel, Moicano praised the performance of Jean Silva against Bryce mitchell and highlighted that he was already expecting a dominant victory, but was surprised by the finish. For Renato, 'Lord' would have a more disputed fight against Alexander Volkanovsky than Diego lopes, who was defeated by the Australian.

“It was obvious that he was going to beat the Bryce mitchell. It was not obvious that he was going to finish, that is, he did more than he needed to. The Jean Silva, in my opinion, would make for an even tougher fight than the Diego lopes against Volkanovski… In the second round, the Bryce mitchell didn't want to be there anymore, and the Jean Silva massacred him,” he said Renato Moicano.

Renato Moicano believe that Jean Silva has the potential to become a star, as it provides a lot of entertainment. However, in his view, the representative of Fighting Nerds needs to improve communication with the public to win more fans.

“In my opinion, he needs to improve his communication skills a little to gain more fans, because he is a guy who brings a lot of entertainment… I know he has his own specific personality, a somewhat autistic personality. He has to adapt a little more to the public, find his timing, and this guy will become a star, my brother,” concluded Moicano.

With the victory over Bryce mitchell, Jean Silva reached the mark of five wins in five fights in the UFC — four by knockout and one by submission. Now, the Brazilian occupies the tenth place in the ranking of the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).
