Michael chandler suffered a tough defeat by technical knockout in the third round to Paddy Pimblett No. UFC 314, held last Saturday (13/04) in Miami (USA). The result was not pleasing and, in a video published on his YouTube channel, the former champion of the organization, Michael Bisping, classified as a 'career-killing performance and put an end to any new chance for the American to fight for Dana White's company belt.

“It was a career-killing performance for Michael chandler. Yes, he will fight again. Yes, he will still make money. But the title talk is over. Pimblett has put an end to that,” said the former champion.

The fight, valid for the lightweight division, started evenly, but Paddy Pimblett took control in the second round with precise takedowns and effective strikes on the ground. In the third round, the British fighter extended his advantage: he applied a sequence of elbows and punches that left Chandler bloodied, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

The American, who has lost five of his last six UFC fights, did not even give a post-event interview and went straight to medical care, with a deep cut on his face.
