Caio Borralho publicly accused the top middleweight names (up to 83,9 kg) in the UFC of avoiding a fight with him. After harsh criticism of Nassourdine Imavov and the former champion Robert whittaker, the man from Maranhão directed an unexpected challenge to the North American anthony hernandez, who has accumulated seven consecutive victories, equaling the Brazilian's undefeated streak in the organization.

The outburst occurred this Tuesday (15), amid Borralho's frustration at not being able to close a fight for the June card in Las Vegas (USA). With no rivals on the immediate horizon, the Brazilian targeted Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez, who is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Brendan allen in February.

“Imavov is running. Whittaker is running. So there’s only one name left in my mind: anthony hernandez, how about we fight? I'm on a seven-game winning streak, you too... So get ready to be finished,” wrote the fighter on his official 'X' (former Twitter) account.

Tensions began to escalate after Imavov, currently number one in the rankings, turned down a proposal to fight Borralho. The Brazilian, who has not fought since August 2024, when he defeated Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision, expressed irritation on social media. The negative comments put his participation in the June event at risk.
