Paddy Pimblett surpasses Renato Moicano and enters the UFC lightweight top 10; Chandler falls

UFC 314 clash saw Pimblett move up to eighth place in the rankings, while Chandler dropped to 12th.

The featherweight category was certainly the most impacted by the results of the UFC 314, held last Saturday (12) and led by the reconquest of the belt Alexander Volkanovsky against Diego lopes, but it was not the only one. The victory of Paddy Pimblett about Michael chandler on the main card of the event also had an impact on the lightweight rankings.

After achieving his seventh consecutive victory in the UFC, and the biggest of his career, Paddy Pimblett took a significant leap and secured a place in the top 10 of the division, more precisely in eighth place. To do so, the British sensation left behind names like Renato Moicano, Raphael Fiziev and himself Michael chandler, obviously.

Former title challenger, the American, on the other hand, suffered his fifth defeat in his last six fights and his third in a row. As a result, Chandler suffered a sharp drop in the rankings and fell to 12th place in the division led by Islam makhachev.
