Newly arrived, but already keeping an eye on the movement in the featherweight category (up to 65,7kg), Aaron Pico made it very clear that he has no interest in facing Jean Silva next. Although the Brazilian is not currently ranked, the American advocates that 'Lord' becomes the next title challenger after achieving five quick wins in the UFC.

“I don’t know, honestly I think Jean Silva, he's 5-0 in the UFC, with all of his wins coming via the fast track. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a title shot (next), being completely honest, but I don't know, that's just me (thinking). He had a great performance (in the UFC 314) and the fans love him, he started to have a lot of fans and I think he is very, very exciting,” Pico told Submission Radio.

aware that Movsar Evloev is in line for the dispute, Pico highlighted that the strategy applied by the Russian in fights could become a barrier for the athlete to face the champion in the next round.

"Movsar Evloev is a great fighter, of course, but I think for the fans it's very boring. In my opinion, what I think will happen is that Jean Silva will have the title fight next. I think it would be a great fight for Alexander Volkanovsky, the fans would be excited and it would be a tough challenge for Alex. But I don't know, I'm not the one responsible for scheduling fights”, he concluded.

Victorious in UFC 314, Jean Silva has not yet expressed a desire to fight for the belt in his next fight. The athlete intends to return to the octagon quickly and has opened the door to face a veteran in UFC Kansas City, which takes place on April 26th and will be attended by his training partner Carlos Prates in the main event of the event.
