One of the greatest fighters in the history of MMA, the psychological situation of B.J. Penn seems to be very worrying. Former lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and welterweight (up to 77,1 kg) champion, the Hawaiian has been starring in a series of degrading situations in recent times. Most recently, last Wednesday (9), a post by the former fighter on Instagram caught the public's attention. According to Penn, members of his family had been murdered and replaced by impostors.

In the post, it is possible to identify a series of photographs and videos of some of Prodigy's relatives, with arrows inserted showing the 'evidence' that the people would be impostors posing as Penn's family. In the description, the former fighter calls for help from the police in Hilo, the city where he was born and lives to this day.
“Hilo Police Department, I need your help. My mother Lorraine Shin, my brother Jay Dee Penn, my brother Reagan Penn, and my brother Kalani Mamazuka have all been murdered and I need you to investigate these guys, get these people out of my home and off my property,” the post reads.

This isn't the first time Penn has been involved in situations like this. One month ago He made similar accusations on social media, saying his mother had been murdered and replaced. Several fans expressed concern in the comments. No one from the family has spoken out.
Bj penn is one of the greatest names in the history of MMA. With just three years of training, he became the first American to win first place in the jiu-jitsu world championship as a black belt. In MMA, he was the second man to win belts in two weight classes. Over nearly two decades as a competitor, he defeated names such as Matt hugs, Takanori Gomi, Sean Sherk and Renzo Gracie.

BJ Penn's UFC career was a downer
If the early part of Penn's career was spectacular, the same cannot be said for the end of his career. Between 2011 and 2019, the fighter experienced several retirements and returns to the sport, in addition to breaking a not-so-pleasant record. With seven consecutive losses, no fighter in UFC history has lost so many fights in a row.
After being defeated by Clay guida, a video of the former champion being knocked out by an anonymous person in a street fight was the trigger for Dana White to fire him once and for all. Since then, despite having tried to be elected as governor in 2022, the former athlete has given several signs of going through problems in his personal life.
