Patrick Pitbull will make his long-awaited debut at the new firm this Saturday (12) at UFC 314, which takes place in Miami (USA). Bellator's featherweight (up to 65,7kg) record holder will have the chance to prove his worth in the most famous octagon in the world. However, his opponent, the Mexican Yair Rodriguez, is willing to throw water on the Brazilian's beer.

Currently, 'El Pantera' is 5th in the featherweight rankings, which will gain a new king this Saturday after the duel for the belt left by Ilia Topuria between Alexander Volkanovsky e Diego lopes. Rodriguez made it clear that he is willing to block the UFC's newest signing and sent a sinister message to Pitbull.
“I’m very happy to be the one to welcome him to the UFC. I’m going to show him the level it takes to be in this company for however many years it takes, and he’s going to feel that on Saturday,” Rodriguez told reporters at Media Day.
Rodriguez enters the octagon under pressure against Pitbull. The Mexican is coming off consecutive losses to Volkanovski and Brian ortega. Even so, he said he did the mental work to go in 100% focused against the Brazilian debutant.
“At the end of last year, I started to change a little bit. (I) started spending more time in the gym. I started to change my habits a little bit. By the end of the year, I had completely changed everything. I changed my mindset, I changed the way I work out, the way I eat, my bad habits. I completely erased all the bad things I was doing and replaced them with something good. If you ask my body, it would be so grateful for that, because I can see the progress – the progress in my body, in my mind, in my spirit. I’ve never felt better in my life, really,” he concluded.
Recently, Yair Rodriguez managed to be the center of attention alongside Diego lopes. Both they were surprised during the press conference of UFC 314, which took place this Thursday (10).
