One of the most eccentric and controversial figures in Ultimate, Bryce mitchell starred in a curious scene this Friday (11). Soon after make weight and confirm the fight with Jean Silva on the main card of UFC 314, the American had a picturesque interaction with Chris Weidman, former middleweight champion of the organization (up to 83,9 kg.), during the entertainment program of the company throughout the official weigh-in.

On a split screen, the two praised each other in a humorous conversation. Still with a smile on his face, Mitchell questioned Weidman's lack of weight cutting and congratulated him on his successful career over several years in the biggest MMA event in the world. The 'All American' shocked the world in 2013 by knocking out the legendary Anderson Silva and become the Ultimate champion. The American officially announced his retirement in January, but signed with GFL shortly after and continues to be a present figure in several of the company's audiovisual projects.

As good friends, the compliments quickly gave way to jokes, which ended up resulting in good exchanges between the two 'buddies'.
“I’m here to make you look better, trust me. I do that with all these guys,” Weidman said.
“That’s why I love being in a room with you all the time,” Mitchell replied.

Afterwards, the former champion said he was more handsome than the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg), in order to elicit a hilarious reaction from his opponent. Jean Silva.
“That’s the only stupid thing I’ve ever heard you say,” Mitchell concluded.
