The reasons that lead Bryce mitchell to the octagon to face Jean Silva this Saturday (12) have made a lot of headlines over the last few weeks. The featherweights (up to 65,7kg) face each other on the main card of the UFC 314, in Miami. For the American, a duel of 'good versus evil'.

During the press conference this Wednesday (9) at 'media day' UFC, Bryce highlighted the importance of the fight for him. The fighter will be fighting for the twentieth time in his career. With only two losses in his professional career and impressive finishes on his resume, Mitchell faces the duel with Jean, the main one on his record.
“I know this is the biggest fight of my life. You know it. Everybody watching knows it. And that’s God’s plan,” Mitchell said during the press conference.
“I wouldn’t have been able to make this fight bigger if I had tried. That’s the spirit that guides me. There’s nothing I could have done to sell this fight. God organized this fight, and God, for me, is here and gives me strength,” explained the American.
Jean Silva asked for marriage of the fight in his last appearance for the UFC. After winning Melsik Baghdasaryan, the Fighting Nerds athlete asked for the duel while still in the octagon. The Ultimate quickly responded. From then on, a war of narratives was waged outside the cage. the brazilian caused several times the conspiracy theorist for his beliefs and Mitchell has been reaffirming that the confrontation is a 'spiritual duel'.
