Patrício Pitbull reveals rival's apology on the eve of UFC 314 debut

Longtime rivals with a vast history of insults and provocations since their Bellator days, Patrick Pitbull e Michael chandler come into action, in different fights, in the UFC 314, this Saturday (12). Anyone who thought that the inevitable encounters between the two would serve to increase the rivalry was mistaken.

In a press conference held at the event's 'Media Day', last Wednesday (9), Patrício revealed that Chandler apologized for all the offenses during a meeting in the lobby of the fighters' hotel.

“Yes, he apologized to me. He said some harsh words. He said he wasn’t going through a good time in his life and he said harsh words after fighting with me and my brother. I accepted it. He showed honor by coming to me and saying that, so I accepted it,” said the Rio Grande do Norte native.

Patrick Pitbull, who knocked out Michael chandler at Bellator, he briefly reported how the meeting between the two went, ruled out the possibility of them facing each other again and wished his rival the best.

“We met in the hotel lobby, shook hands and resolved the issue. He and I have a lot of history, but we will never fight again. I wish him the best. We will see on fight day how he does,” he concluded.
