The announcement coincides with the measure taken also for Molly McCann, still in the octagon, on March 22. On that occasion, 'Burguesinha' also submitted her in the first round. Submissions in the first round are becoming definitive, it seems.
Dione reached her third consecutive defeat with last weekend's result. Although she is only 28 years old, the 'Warrior Princess' already has 28 fights accumulated in her professional record. There are 15 wins and 10 losses. In a post made on her Instagram account, the fighter showed gratitude.
“It was fun fighting at the highest level. I never dared to dream that I would get there. But I ended up spending my last six years fighting for the best promotion in the world. It was a fun ride and I loved it. Now it’s time to start a new chapter. Thank you UFC, Mick Maynard and Dana White,” Belbita wrote.
