Alexander Volkanovski warns Diego Lopes about the danger of being violent at UFC 314

Determined to regain the title he lost in his last appearance in the octagon, Alexander Volkanovsky guarantees fun for fans if it depends on itself. Aware that Diego lopes has a violent style in appearances in the organization, the Australian said he was prepared to face the new generation and warned his rival about choices.

“It’s all good, it’s good to be back, dangerous opponent, right? The new blood, the new generation, that’s what I want now, I’m trying to prove that I’m still the guy, I’m still the best in the world, and that I can beat the new school, the new generation. He’s going to be dangerous, there’s going to be punches, but if you’re aggressive like that, especially with what I plan to do, things are going to come back to you hard, so I think everyone’s going to have a good time,” Volkanovski said on the episode of UFC Embedded.

Finally, Volkanovski promised change and assured that he would take advantage of the entire process in an appropriate manner.

“I’m looking forward to going out there and working, putting my hand up and celebrating properly and enjoying it properly (this time), I’m going to enjoy the whole process,” he concluded.

Named as the favorite by bookmakers, Volkanovski has not won since 2023. In his last two appearances, the fighter was knocked out by Islam makhachev e Ilia Topuria respectively. Australian seeks to regain belt this Saturday (12) in the main fight of UFC 314 against Diego lopes.
