Prochazka has been at the center of an intense rivalry with the division's reigning champion, Magomed Ankalayev. However, with the rematch between Poatan and Ankalaev on the cards, Prochazka will need to fight one more fight before he gets another shot at the title. One name that seems to fit this scenario is Carlos Ulberg, who won Jan Blachowicz No. UFC London. Jiri, in fact, had already made available to face him if he overcame the Pole.
At 32, Jiri Prochazka has an impressive record of 31 wins and just five losses – his only loss in the UFC being to Alex Poatán. Currently number two in the light heavyweight rankings (up to 93kg), the Czech has already won six bonuses in Dana White's organization: two 'Fight of the Night' awards and four 'Performance of the Night' awards.
