Oscar De La Hoya has no doubt that Dana White will fail in his new venture. After analyzing the facts surrounding the UFC president creating a new boxing league, the former champion of the noble art was harsh in his criticism.

In an edition of his 'Clapback Thursday', available on the Boxing King Media channel, Oscar criticized the supposedly leaked salary figures of the new TKO league. According to him, if these numbers are true, the initiative will face serious problems, since fighters would not accept earning so little.

“The alleged pay and salaries of TKO fighters have been leaked. If they are real, Dana is going to have a lot of problems. Number one: No fighter is going to fight for pennies. Number two: No pay-per-view fighter is going to fight for $750. Are you telling me the Canelos and Ryan Garcias are going to take this pay cut? Of course not! More importantly, if these numbers are real, UFC fighters are going to be upset because the TKO fighters are making so much more than them,” De La Hoya said.

Oscar De La Hoya stated that Dana White always fails when he doesn't have financial and strategic support behind his ventures. In addition, he did not hold back in criticizing the UFC president's character and personal life.

“When Dana doesn’t have the financing and business acumen of guys like the Fertittas and Turki Al-Sheikh, he always fails. How are ‘The Ultimate Surfer’ or ‘Power Slap’ doing? As for Dana’s character, it speaks for itself. I don’t even need to comment on a guy who slapped his own wife in public and whose mother wrote a book about what a horrible person her son is. It’s available on Amazon if you want to read it,” the former champion said.

Despite pointing out Dana White's lack of success, De La Hoya concluded by saying that none of this would stop him from working with the UFC CEO, should the opportunity arise.

“Would I work with Dana in the future? Of course,” he said. “Because 80 percent of the people I deal with in boxing are scumbags anyway,” the boxing legend concluded.
