The Englishman, who was knocked out by the Brazilian in the past, in 2013, believes that Belfort is not the same fighter as he was in recent years, especially since the ban on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

“If you look at Vitor’s body, you will see that he has changed. He is without TRT, and everyone knows what I think about that. There was always a cloud over Vitor's head: 'Is this the new Vitor?', 'Is this the old Vitor?' But everyone knows what I'm talking about. How will Vitor behave without TRT, without the 'magic juice'? He says he feels younger, faster. He's still a great fighter, with fantastic techniques, but I believe Chris Weidman will win the fight”, he assessed, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Junkie”.

However, Bisping believes Weidman will receive more credit for the victory than he deserves. “Weidman will receive a lot of credit for defeating this 'new Vitor', this Vitor who has a winning streak, but it's not the same guy”, he analyzed.
