“It’s been a time of waiting, which I’m using to develop other things. I’m traveling all over the world, working a lot outside the octagon. That’s my mindset,” said Borralho.

Borralho seeks to fight for the UFC belt later this year

According to the fighter, the fight will define the next challenger for the category title.

“We already have a fight, a date, an opponent. We just can’t say anything yet, absolutely nothing. That’s the most I can say. There will be news soon. The belt is closer than ever. That’s the plan (the belt in 2025). Even before I knew about this next fight, that was the plan. To fight for the belt by the end of the year. To have a fight by the middle of the year and then by the end of this year – at the latest, at the beginning of the next year I want to be fighting for the belt. That’s more or less what I’m thinking,” he concluded.
