Former UFC welterweight (up to 77kg) and middleweight (up to 83,9kg) champion Georges St-Pierre sparked debate on social media by sharing an image that excludes the Brazilian José Aldo of his top 10 best fighters in the history of MMA.
The list, released by the Canadian on his 'X' account (formerly Twitter), prioritizes names such as Jon Jones, Anderson Silva e Khabib Nurmagomedov, while the man from Manaus, featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) and considered one of the greatest in the category, does not appear among those chosen.

Aldo's absence was notable, as the Brazilian maintained an undefeated reign of nearly a decade in the WEC and UFC, with 18 title defenses combined — a milestone that often finds him in discussions about the 'Greatest of All Time' (GOAT – greatest in history).
In the post, St-Pierre described the image as 'a cool photo', without detailing the selection criteria or authorship. The proposed division separates the athletes into two lines:
Front line: Khabib Nurmagomedov, Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva e Demetrious Johnson.
Back row: Fedor Emelianenko, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, BJ Penn and Kamaru Usman.
I stumbled upon this. I thought it was a cool picture.❤️ pic.twitter.com/HIJTJa3gL4
