Renato Moicano makes bold prediction about Carlos Prates vs. Ian Garry in the UFC: 'He will win by knockout'

Renato Moicano spared no praise for Carlos Prates and predicted a categorical scenario for his compatriot to face the Irishman Ian Machado Garry in the main fight of UFC Kansas City, which takes place on April 26. According to the fighter, his experience in Muay Thai and his history of more than 100 fights in Thailand put the Brazilian at an absolute advantage.

In a video published on the channel 'Renato Money Moicano', the former lightweight title challenger (up to 70,3kg) made a blunt analysis of the UFC fight. Without beating around the bush, the athlete and commentator believes that Carlos Prates will win by knockout.

“Make no mistake: knockout of the Carlos Prates. There is no way. The Ian Machado Garry will not be willing to exchange standing with the Carlos Prates, who is much more experienced, a Muay Thai fighter. A fighter with over 100 fights in Thailand. Standing up, it's really blurry,” said Moicano, reinforcing his colleague's reputation as one of the top names in the category.

“Make the 'M' (for Mohawk) with confidence. He will win the Ian Machado Garry by knockout”, added the analyst, in a provocative tone regarding the possible rivalry.

Carlos Prates, 31 years old, is recognized on the international circuit for his career in Muay Thai, even before migrating and having his first successful career in the UFC. Having trained in Thai gyms and participated in events in the country, the Brazilian has accumulated 21 victories in MMA, 19 of them by submission or knockout.
