Even though it's April 1st, Conor McGregor made a real provocation to his eternal UFC rival Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media. Even away from the octagon, the exchange of barbs between the two is frequent, with the Irish star 'going too far' on several occasions.

In the post made by 'The Notorious' on his official 'Instagram' account this Tuesday, there was even some left over for the lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), Islam makhachev, protected from Khabib Nurmagomedov, and for the featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg), Ilia Topuria, who left the belt vacant to move up a category.
McGregor compared his UFC knockouts to those of the three superstar fighters.
“3 small staph infections. #KOKINGMACGREGOR,” McGregor posted. (see video below)
On October 6, 2018, Khabib submitted McGregor and retained the UFC lightweight belt. The event also holds the highest sales record in the organization's history, with 2,4 million packages sold in total. Since then, the Irishman has been frustrated at not getting his rematch, as Khabib has retired.
Topuria challenged McGregor after his featherweight title win over Alexander Volkanovsky No. UFC 298. While there appeared to be mutual respect between the two sides, things quickly escalated, including the Georgian-Spanish fighter threatening the former two-division UFC champion if the two ever came face to face in public.
So far, none of the three mentioned in the publication have responded to McGregor's provocations.

McGregor has not appeared in the UFC octagon since injuring his leg against Dustin poirier No. UFC 264, almost four years ago. He was scheduled to return in UFC 303 in June last year before withdrawing due to a toe injury ahead of their scheduled clash with Michael chandler.
The Irish star was in brief talks to face Logan Paul, brother of Jake Paul, in a boxing match before UFC brass 'squashed' negotiations. McGregor still has two fights remaining on his UFC contract, but it remains to be seen whether he will fulfill his contractual obligations or request a formal release to pursue other fighting ventures.
Recently, McGregor has seemed more interested in a future fight in the Bare Knuckle FC ring or a possible retirement, as opposed to a professional return to boxing or MMA. 'The Notorious' also recently announced his presidential campaign Irish in a stunning crossover into politics.
