Jamall Emmers it didn't take more than one round to pass by brazilian Gabriel Miranda. Although a submission threatened the American, he landed a good sequence of strikes at the end of the first round to secure the victory in the UFC Mexico.
After the fight, the prospect spoke to the press at a press conference and revealed that he is a 'sniper' who is not looking for a war. He just wants to do his job within the organization.

“I’m not really expecting anything. I’m just going in to get that ‘W’, I’m not really looking for wars. I try to do it really clean, like a sniper – in and out, without missing too much,” Emmers said in a post-fight press conference.
Regarding the next duel, the American targeted a compatriot of his defeated opponent. A name that appeared on the same card: Melquizael Costa. The Brazilian would win his fight against moments later Christian rodriguez.
“I know there’s another featherweight fight on this card. I want the winner of that. Whenever it is, but I want the winner of that. (Christian) Rodriguez and (Melquizael) Costa are very, very talented guys, very well-rounded guys, I believe. I think either one of those guys would be a good fight for me,” Jamall said.
