Former flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg) and eager for the opportunity to regain the lost belt in 2023, Brandon Moreno does not hesitate to challenge again Alexandre pantoja for confrontation. Defeated three times by the Brazilian so far, the Mexican suggested that they put him to face the Brazilian in September, at the event that will be held in his home country.
“That’s the goal for sure. (to fight) in Guadalajara. I think it’s perfect. Even for the UFC, for the promotion. If they want to get the Pay-Per-View of Night UFC in September in Guadalajara, I think I'm the right choice," Brandon said at a press conference after winning the UFC Mexico.

After beating a former title challenger last Saturday, the Mexican sent an indirect message to Pantoja, but so far he has not received a response from the Brazilian.

In the last duel between the athletes, Pantoja won the flyweight belt in UFC 290 after defeating Moreno by unanimous decision. In an evenly matched fight, the Brazilian overcame adversity and set T-Mobile Arena on fire with a devastating performance in the octagon. Since then, Brandon has yet to get a chance to fight his rival.
