The Brazilian Gabriel Miranda could not bear the impetus of Jamall Emmers e was knocked out still in the first round in the preliminary duel of the UFC Mexico. But what should have been a reason for celebration and joy for the American team, immediately triggered a scene of fury between two of the corners.

Emmers hit Gabriel with a hard knee, followed by a right to the jaw and knocked the fighter from Paraná to the canvas. 'Pretty Boy' followed up with two hard hammer punches to the face before the referee intervened. The knockout fired up the crowd in Mexico City.

The UFC's official broadcast showed Emmers' striking coach Chris Culley and head coach Jacob Behney getting into a fight. Shortly after Emmers scored his knockout, Culley yelled in Behney's face and pointed a finger at him. Behney responded by grabbing Culley's wrists to restrain him. (see video below)

With the second setback in a row, Gabriel Miranda reaches his third defeat in four fights in the UFC and finds himself in a delicate situation in the organization. On the other side, Jamall Emmers recovers from the knockout he suffered against nate landwehr and has continued to alternate positive and negative results since he debuted in the organization in 2020.
