Patrício Pitbull reveals plan to fight for UFC belt and says: 'I'm the best and most complete'

In less than two weeks, the UFC 314 presents MMA fans with one of the most anticipated cards of the year. Among the main attractions of the event on April 12th is the long-awaited debut of Patrick Pitbull in the UFC. Bellator legend, the featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) from Rio Grande do Norte makes his debut in the organization against the former interim champion Yair Rodriguez.

In an interview with reporter Megan Olivi published on the UFC's official channel, Pitbull spoke about his expectations for his debut and revealed plans to fight for the organization's belt as soon as possible.

“A fight against Yair Rodriguez puts me in a great place in the division. So, if my performance was really good, I believe I will fight for the title”, said the Brazilian.

Patrick Pitbull praised Yair Rodriguez, but he did not hide the confidence he feels before his debut. The Brazilian made it clear what his strategy will be when he steps into the octagon for the first time.

“He’s good, very dynamic, but I’m better. I’m going to pressure him, take him down and crush him. That’s what’s going to happen. You’re going to see the best featherweight on the planet in action and the most complete featherweight on the planet,” he concluded.

With Patrick Pitbull e Yair Rodriguez climbed, the UFC 314 takes place on May 12th, in Miami, United States. In the main fight of the event, Diego lopes disputes the vacant featherweight belt (up to 65,7 kg) against the former champion Alexander Volkanovsky.
