Present on the main card of UFC Mexico, Raúl Rosas Jr. witnessed how important the crowd can be in dangerous moments of the fight. Despite the dominance against Vince Morales, the Mexican was forced to resist twice the submission attempt applied by his opponent. With successful defense, the bantamweight prospect (up to 61,2 kg.) achieved his fourth consecutive victory after triumphing in the unanimous decision of the judges.

At 20 years old, the athlete is expecting to become the youngest champion in history. With his fourth consecutive victory in the organization, Raul takes another step towards the top 15 of the category reigned by Merab Dvalishvili. In an interview in the octagon, the fighter asked for Dana's patience and promised constant evolution going forward.

An MMA veteran, Morales has entered a difficult phase in the UFC. Since being rehired by the organization, the fighter has suffered three consecutive losses and is now waiting for another chance to remain active in the Ultimate.

Raul Rosas goes through a tough time and wins again

The confrontation began with Raul Rosas betting on kicks and looking for a quick takedown against Morales. Unsuccessful in the first attack, the Mexican closed the distance, landed good blows close to the fence and lifted his rival to throw him to the ground with brutality. Dominant, Junior was able to transition positions with ease, but was prevented by his rival from raising his posture to land powerful blows. When trying to get up, the North American left his back open and ended up paying dearly for the decision. Raul managed to land hooks and pose a threat to his rival. Determined not to give up, Vince Morales managed a providential sweep and ended the first round with a submission attempt.

In the second round, the fight remained standing in the early stages. After exchanging blows without much force, Raul sought the first takedown of the round and quickly managed to take control of his opponent's back. Despite his good momentum, the Mexican ended up missing an opportunity and had to take down Morales again, this time falling inside the American's guard. After exchanging strength, Rosas returned to Morales' back in search of space to apply a rear naked choke. With great effort and technique, Vince was successful in thwarting the Mexican's attempts, but ended the round being dominated again.

In the last round, Vince started with a very tight submission, which forced Raul to use his last strength and show great determination. With the support of the crowd, the Mexican escaped and breathed a sigh of relief after frustrating his opponent. After escaping, Rosas controlled his opponent again, but in the final seconds he was forced to resist the submission attempt again, while claiming that everything was fine to prevent the referee from stopping the fight.
