The former UFC double champion revealed that he recently received an offer to fight, but turned it down. However, the idol kept fans' hopes alive that he would return to combat.

“There’s an event happening at Alcatraz, I believe, in June. They came to me and it wasn’t my value. As a fighter, you have to know your value. I have all the pay-per-view records, I have all the gate records, and my return will be marked as one of the biggest or the biggest, most anticipated return of all time. So it has to be right. Right now, Ireland is in my thoughts and that’s where I’m at, but it will happen, I’m sure and it’s always great to be here.”
