Target of great provocations by Magomed Ankalayev on the social networks, Alex Poatán deals with episodes without giving importance to the highlighted words. Aware that Ali Abdelaziz, the Russian's manager, advises his fighters to seek the spotlight through these means, the Brazilian guarantees to treat everything with indifference and explains why he does not respond to the attacks.
“There’s no need to talk about these guys. They’re talking because it’s the only way they can be seen. Everyone knows that no one likes to see the guy (Ankalaev) fight. I don’t need to say anything because, as I said, I have a good relationship with the organization, and my managers (as well). So we know what we can achieve, what’s going to happen. Why should I keep provoking him and giving him credit?” Poatan said in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
