As he prepares to measure strength with Diego lopes in the main fight of UFC 314, Alexander Volkanovsky has chosen interesting – and dangerous – ways to relax. In a video published on social media this Thursday (27), the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) took advantage of a gap in his training routine to enjoy a beach and dive with sharks.

At 36, Alexander Volkanovsky will have a difficult mission ahead. Diego lopes will be on the other side of the octagon on April 12, and the winner will win the featherweight belt (up to 65,7), vacant since Ilia Topuria left the division to move up in weight.

The Australian is not going through a good moment. Away from MMA for over a year, Volka was knocked out twice in a row, by Ilia Topuria e Islam makhachev. Now, if you win, you equal José Aldo as the second featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) to win the belt twice.
