The delay in making the fight between Jon Jones e Tom aspinall has generated discontent among several personalities in the world of MMA. However, although some are already doubting the possibility of this fight happening, for Jon Anik, official UFC commentator, there is a good chance that the confrontation will happen this year.

In an interview with the North American website 'Submission Radio' this Wednesday (26), Anik confessed to having met the current UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg.) recently and having been positively impressed by Bones' physical condition.
“I think it will happen this year, in the third or fourth quarter. Jon Jones He looked like he was in good shape when I saw him. I think it will be in Las Vegas,” said the narrator.

Jon Jones is the UFC heavyweight champion
The claim comes at an interesting time. Recently, Canadian reporter Ariel Helwani broke the news that Jones allegedly needed more six months to prepare in the ideal way to unify titles against Aspinall.
The Englishman, who has stated several times that he is at the mercy of Bones' good will to step into the octagon, even took a toy duck to the UFC London as a provocation to the rival. Duck (duck, in English), is a slang term used to describe someone who purposely avoids another person.
