After being completely dominated by Sean brady and be finished in the main fight of the UFC London, Leon edwards is going through a difficult time in the welterweight category (up to 77,1 kg). The Englishman has accumulated two negative performances in a row and for Michael Bisping, the future of his compatriot in the organization will depend a lot on how the former category champion's psychology will react in this situation.

Shortly after the end of the event, the official UFC commentator projected the probable paths for the fighter in the broadcast of the British TV program 'TNT Sports'.
“I think the biggest opponent of Leon edwards “Now it’s going to be him. Does he accept that? ‘Okay, I just got beat by two top-level grapplers. Maybe the two best grapplers in the division and I’m still 31 years old, I haven’t slowed down, I have no injuries, I’m not full of arthritis and blind in one eye,’” the former fighter said, joking about his own example.

Despite reiterating the need for Edwards to recover emotionally after yet another failure, Bisping still expressed hope for his compatriot's future at the top of the division.
“Does he have the strength to say, ‘Wait a minute, I’m going to rebuild myself’? Or does he succumb to doubt? Because that starts to creep in now. You think, ‘Okay, I’ve made a lot of money, I’ve become the champion, I’ve traveled all over the world, I’m financially set for life.’ The danger of allowing that mindset to creep in is very, very easy. I still see a world where Leon edwards "He could potentially be in the title race again. But he needs to start getting some wins and he needs to start finishing some people," he concluded.
