Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao could soon meet again in the ring. At least that's what the North American fighter says, who won the so-called “Fight of the Century” last Saturday (2), in Las Vegas (USA), by the judges' decision.

Even though he initially said that he would not be interested in a rematch, Mayweather went back and stated that he should have another duel with the Filipino next year, as soon as his rival is recovered from the surgery he will undergo to correct a shoulder injury. “I'm going to fight him in a year, after his surgery,” Mayweather told the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”.
Initial information indicates that Pacquiao is expected to spend nine to 12 months away from activity while recovering from surgery, which will take place at the end of this week. If the rematch actually takes place, Mayweather will postpone his retirement in relation to what was initially announced, as the boxer had stated that he would end his career in September this year.
