Without a doubt, one of the most anticipated duels in modern MMA is the fight that would unify the UFC heavyweight belts (up to 120,2 kg) between Jon Jones e Tom aspinall. However, despite the great demand for the fight, the organization has shown resistance in meeting the linear champion's conditions for holding the dispute.
In a press conference after his victory in the UFC 309, Jones stated that he should be well compensated to face the interim champion. In a recent appearance on the 'Jaxxon Podcast', Demetrious Johnson directly suggested how the UFC could resolve the issue of title unification.
“The UFC made $1,4 billion and this guy is asking for $8,1 million. Pay him and get this sorted,” said the flyweight record holder.

After Francis Ngannou leave the title vacant and migrate to the PFL, Jon Jones faced Cyryl Gane No. UFC 285 e became the new heavyweight champion. However, an injury to 'Bones' led the UFC to create an interim belt, which was won by Tom aspinall after his victory over Sergey Pavlovich. Since then, the division has had two champions, who now need to settle their differences inside the octagon.
