Caio Borralho opens up and makes revelations about training with Khamzat Chimaev

A born scholar, Caio Borralho does not waste opportunities for training and observation. In one of these forays into the field of knowledge, the 'Fighting Nerd' met twice with a division companion: the undefeated Khamzat Shimaev.

“If they give me that fight, I definitely will (fight Chimaev), I think it would be a great fight. I trained with him for about five weeks in Sweden and then in Las Vegas… So I kind of know a little bit about his system, what he wants to do next, and what he wants the guy to do next so he can advance in his system,” he said. Caio Borralho em interview ao 'Jaxxon Podcast'.

“I think I have advantages because I studied a lot about it – I was paying attention. I was helping him for sure, but I was also paying attention to everything,” Borralho said.

Caio Borralho is currently number six in the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9 kg). The Brazilian has not lost since July 2015. He is coming off victories over Paul Craig e Jared CannonierThe fighter's record has 17 wins, only one loss and one fight without a result.
