Former UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) and considered one of the greatest stars in the history of MMA, Ronda Rousey has been flirting with a possible return in recent days. This is because she has started posting some training videos on her official Instagram account. The fighter just gave birth to her second daughter in January.

Ronda had her last UFC fight in 2016, when she was knocked out in the first round by the now retired Brazilian Amanda nunes. Since then, although she never made an official retirement announcement, her return to MMA seemed distant. However, what caught fans' attention was the fact that Ronda appeared alongside her former UFC rival Zingano cat in one of the publications.

PUBLICITY:

"Thanks, Zingano cat, for visiting and helping me relearn how to move. I had forgotten how much fun it could be,” she wrote in the post. (watch the video below)

Rousey faced and defeated Zingano in what was her fifth title defense as bantamweight champion at UFC 184. It was an impressive victory after Rousey secured an armbar that ended the fight just 14 seconds into the opening round.

In another post also on 'Instagram', Ronda appears training with a Bulgarian bag, making various movements with the artifact. (watch below)

It's all part of a push to get pregnant after having her second child. Ronda has vowed to share her journey to help others in a similar situation after she refused to post photos of her body after giving birth for the first time.

PUBLICITY:

“It’s crazy to think now that I never shared these photos because I was afraid people would compare my postpartum body to my battle camp shape in a cruel way. It’s obvious now that I was the one doing the unfair comparison — holy shit, what an idiot I was, I would be so proud to be back in that spot now. So this time, I’m going to try to be a little braver and not go through this journey in secret, but share it in the hopes that it helps someone else going through something similar.”

Although she's back in the gym, Rousey has made it clear that her fighting days are over, especially with the history of concussions that led her to leave MMA and professional wrestling behind.
