While he doesn't have his next fight scheduled in the UFC, the middleweight (up to 83,9kg.) Khamzat Shimaev is keeping his cardio up to date. A video on social media shows the Swedish-Russian fighter playing soccer on a synthetic grass pitch in a friendly match. Well… almost!

In the same video, when Chimaev received a 'sweet' pass and was preparing to take a beautiful shot, a rival player surprised him and stole the ball from 'Wolf', who was not happy at all about being left behind. He then 'forgot' that he was not in the octagon and struck, knocking his opponent down, living up to the famous catchphrase 'not here!' (see below)

The number 3 ranked challenger, the Swedish-Russian, expects his next match to be against the champion Dricus du Plessis.
“In 2025, I will conquer this belt, InShAllah, and no one will be able to stop me,” Chimaev wrote on social media.
The undefeated fighter improved his record to 14 wins in finish brutally the former champion Robert whittaker No. UFC 308, in October of last year.
