Towards a crucial fight in my career, Jan Blachowicz, 42, expresses nothing but confidence for the end of his career in the Ultimate. Scheduled to face a light heavyweight prospect (up to 93kg) on March 22 at UFC London, the Polish man guarantees that he will beat his rival and thus be elected as the next challenger for the title, in order to have revenge with Magomed Ankalayev.
“What’s going to happen? I’m going to get a title shot against Anakalaev. First of all, I’m only focused on Ulberg. But I’m going to beat him, so you can ask me what’s next. We have history, unfinished business that we need to finish. So, I’m only focused on my next fight. Yes, I’m going to beat Ulberg and then I’m going to fight for the title against Ankalaev,” Blachowicz said during an interview with Ariel Helwani.

In addition to Ankalaev, Blachowicz did not hesitate to add Alex Poatán on his final list before retiring.
“I beat Ankalaev and then defend it against Alex Pereira. I defend the belt against Pereira. That’s the perfect scenario for me. Then I can go to the mountains again,” he concluded.

Currently third in the category ranking, Jan is looking to return to winning ways after losing to Alex Poatán in 2023. Present at the penultimate fight of the UFC London, the veteran faces Ulberg, who is currently ranked sixth in the light heavyweight division. The fight takes place on March 22.
