On his X profile (formerly Twitter), McGregor responded with an acidic comment on the matter.

“Ridiculous b*tch. Wash your a*s,” the fighter wrote.

Christine, who had previously publicly criticized Poatan after their relationship ended, made a video after the Brazilian's unanimous decision defeat in which she spoke about 'Karma being real', suggesting that the fight should have taken place on International Women's Day. The post quickly went viral, attracting reactions from fans and sports personalities.

Alex's defeat in the UFC 313 snapped a four-fight winning streak, including triumphs over the likes of Jiri Prochazka e Jamahal hill. The Brazilian, who received a rare ceremonial entrance into the event — an honor shared only by icons such as Jon Jones and McGregor himself — was unable to contain Ankalaev's wrestling and lost the light heavyweight belt.
