This Friday (24), Georges St Pierre returned to participate in an official UFC event in a question and answer session with Canadian fans in Montreal, where UFC 186 will be held this weekend. Despite having frustrated fans with the lack of a concrete announcement about his future in MMA , the former welterweight champion reflected on his career in the sport and revealed that, despite his great success in fights, he would change some things about his past if he had the opportunity.

“If I had to do it all over again, I would change some things. I'm very critical of myself and I think there are things I could improve. I didn't like some of the fights I had and I would change some things in my preparation. But this is how we gain experience. I can't change the past, but I can change the future. But I would change some things: my defeats, to Matt hugs and Matt Serra, the first fight I had with B.J. Penn I hated, hated my fight with Jake Shields, I hated my fight with Nick Diaz and I also hated my last fight, with John hendricks. With that one, I wasn’t happy at all”, confessed the now former fighter.

The Canadian, who still leaves it open whether or not he will return to MMA, revealed his desire to participate in at least one WWE telecatch event. GSP said that he has always been a fan of wrestling and that, despite not having the physical size to perform frequently, he would like to satisfy the desire to be part of at least one attraction.

“If I had the opportunity, it would be something I would love to do. I've always been a big fan of telecatch, but I'm not big enough to make a career out of it. I'm too small and the guys there are giants. But I would love to make an appearance. It would be an honor,” said the Canadian, adding that he has not yet been approached by WWE directors.

The most dominant UFC welterweight champion in history bets his chips on his pupil Rory McDonald, which will face Robbie Lawler for the category belt in July. “I believe Rory is better than Robbie Lawler. I think he will win, because he is better. In a fight, anything can happen: Robbie has a lot of power, but I say with all confidence: Rory is the future of the welterweight division. It doesn't matter how long it will take him to become champion. He is the future of the division and will stay at the top for a long time,” he added.
