TUF champion Rony Jason faces North American at UFC Goiânia

The winner of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil in the featherweight category Ron Jason He already has a date set to return to the Octagon. Jason will face the North American Damon Jackson on May 30th, at UFC Goiânia.

At 31, Ron Jason has a professional record of 14 wins and five losses. The Ceará native hasn't fought since May last year, when he suffered a disputed split decision defeat to Robbie Peralta at the TUF Brasil 3 Final, in São Paulo (SP).

The Brazilian's opponent, Damon Jackson, will have his second fight in Ultimate. Former champion of the North American Legacy FC event, Damon debuted in the Octagon with a defeat to Yancy Medeiros in August last year. In his career, “The Leech” (“The Leech”, in free translation), as he is known, has a record of nine wins and one defeat.

UFC Goiânia takes place on May 30th, at the Goiânia Arena, in Goiânia (GO). In the main fight of the night, the former welterweight title challenger Thiago Pitbull faces the former champion of the extinct WEC and former holder of the interim UFC welterweight title Carlos Condit.
