Youth and vigor spoke louder in the duel of muses that opened the main card of UFC on FOX 15. At just 21 years old, paige vanzant didn't give a chance Felice herrig and beat her rival after a week of hot weather and lots of provocation between them.

All the animosity between Herrig and VanZant showed right at the beginning of the fight. The two started to exchange franks and, soon after, went to the ground game, alternating in the dominant position. The athlete from Team Alpha Male She ended up giving in her back and was almost caught in an armbar, but managed to free herself and apply a very tough piledriver, mercilessly throwing her rival to the ground. At the end of the round, VanZant still managed to land a beautiful heel hook, but there was no time to work on the position and the bell sounded.
In the second round, the pace didn't drop and the excitement remained high in the octagon. The athletes alternated in attacking the ground game, but this time the advantage was clearer for VanZant. At the end of the round, Paige still found an opening to attack her rival in the ground and pound with hammers to the face.
In the third round, after starting in the clinch, VanZant managed to take Herrig to the ground and again punished her rival in the ground and pound. Dodging the pedals well and avoiding submission attempts from beneath Felice, Paige crushed her opponent on the ground and against the fence and delivered several blows to her rival for more than three minutes until the partial finally came to an end.
At the end of the fight, the three judges gave victory to paige vanzant, two of them with a 10-8 in the last round. With the triumph, Paige, just 21 years old, expanded her professional record to five wins and one loss.
