Weidman risks dubbing and sends 'kiss on the shoulder' to critics in Brazil

In internet language, people who insist on hateful or critical publications without much discretion against personalities or other users are classified as haters (word of English origin meaning “he who hates”). Executioner of three Brazilians in the Octagon and in the sights of his fourth Tupiniquim opponent, Vitor belfort, the middleweight champion Chris Weidman can be considered the “Number One Enemy” of Brazil's fans and that's why he decided to leave a humorous, but provocative, message for the country's fans.

For his message, Weidman risked dubbing the song “Rollercoaster”, by Noelle Bean, whose message is quite similar to that of funk singer Valesca Popozuda in “Beijinho no Ombro”. “No, I'm not going anywhere. So here's a kiss. A kiss for all of mine haters“, says the excerpt of the song reproduced by the North American on his Twitter.

Immediately, Weidman's message reached its recipients and Brazilian fans began to respond to the champion. While a few praised the fighter's creativity, the majority preferred to rebut him with insults and threats involving his fight against Vitor belfort, valid for the middleweight belt, on May 23rd.

At 30, Chris Weidman has a perfect professional record of 12 wins in 12 fights. In his career, Weidman has already beaten four Brazilians, Valdir Araújo, Demian Maia, Anderson Silva (twice) and Lyoto Machida, the last three of which were in UFC fights. In addition to the duel scheduled against Vitor belfort, Weidman also remains in the sights of Ronaldo Jacare, considered by many as one of the favorites for a middleweight title fight soon.
