Proving that he only loses when he shares the octagon with the champion José Aldo, Chad Mendes, ranked first in the featherweight category, achieved another victory this Saturday (04), with an overwhelming knockout over former challenger Ricardo Lamas in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 63.

The triumph, seventh for the athlete from Team Alpha Male in his last eight fights, he came by technical knockout with aggressive work ground and pound. After opening the way with a well-aimed right hand, which destabilized Lamas, Mendes charged forward and finished the fight with a devastating series of punches.
At 29, Chad Mendes he reached 17 wins and two losses in his career. This was also the American's twelfth triumph in the featherweight category, just three behind José Aldo, who with 15 victories is the record holder within the division.
