When asked about his performance in the fight, when he was dominated and defeated by unanimous decision, the British fighter said he was exhausted due to the time at which the fight took place. UFC 304 took place in the early hours of the morning in England, so that it could be shown in the US at standard time.
“I wasn’t physically tired, but I was mentally tired. You know, when you wake up at five in the morning to get up and go run or train, you don’t feel good? That’s how I felt,” said the fighter.
